This house was built in the 30s. Over the years, its walls, floors and ceilings were all hidden behind a variety of paper and fabric. These were all stripped away, but we maintained the old doors and restored the wooden-beamed ceilings. The flooring was done as it was in the past: traditional trespol method, on your knees, trowel in one hand and cement powder in the other. A gradual process, not to be rushed…
